Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA, is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medicine Unit. The role offers multiple shifts, with Days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) and Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).

The Nurse Residency Program is available for new grads, and there is a sign-on bonus plus relocation assistance for qualified candidates. The primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, administering medications, and communicating with families to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• RN license in Virginia or compact multistate license in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
• Education options: RN-Associate’s Degree, RN-Bachelor’s Degree, RN-Diploma, RN-Master’s Degree.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and admitting patients.
