Job summary
Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Cardiac Unit. The role runs weekend nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with duties including patient assessment, medication administration, and family communication.
New grads are welcome to apply; starting pay for new graduate RNs with less than 1 year of experience is $36.00/hour. A $20k sign-on bonus and relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.
Qualifications
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing.
- BLS within 90 days of hire.
- RN degree required per listed education options.
Responsibilities
- Assess/admit patients and perform rounds checks.
- Administer medications and monitor patient status.
- Communicate with families and coordinate care with team.
- Provide overall care and ensure safety on unit.
- Collaborate with care team to deliver high-quality outcomes.
