Job summary

New grads are welcome through a six-month Nurse Residency Program with a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and relocation assistance. Multiple shifts available (Days and Nights) to support patient needs across the Sentara system.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Virginia or Compact Multi‑State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
• New grads welcome with Nurse Residency Program

Responsibilities

• Assessing and admitting patients
• Rounding checks and medication administration
• Communicating with families to coordinate care
• Providing overall care for patients in the Medicine Unit

Education

RN-Associate’s Degree, or RN-Bachelor’s Degree, or RN-Diploma, or RN-Master’s Degree
