Job summary

Beacon Specialized Living is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to coordinate medical care for individuals with diverse healthcare needs within our behavioral health services. You will oversee medications, vaccines, and treatments, and monitor health concerns to ensure high-quality, compliant care.

You will educate and support Direct Support Professionals, collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, participate in quality improvement and infection prevention initiatives, and

Qualifications

• Active RN license (2+ years nursing experience preferred).
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• Passion for providing compassionate, high-quality care.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee medical care for individuals with diverse healthcare needs.
• Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as ordered.
• Complete assessments and monitor ongoing health concerns.
• Educate and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) on medical care and equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, and interdisciplinary teams; ensure compliance with state regulations and best practices.
• Participate in quality improvement, infection prevention, and medical training initiatives.
