Boston Medical Center (BMC) invites applications for a Registered Nurse on the Medical Surgical 4 West unit. The 46-bed unit handles colorectal, surgical oncology, gynecology, trauma and acute care surgery patients, offering professional growth opportunities and unit-based practice council participation.

This RN role requires MA RN licensure, 1+ year experience preferred, BLS, ACLS in certain units, and a Diploma/ASN/BSN with BSN within 4 years.

Qualifications

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Fluency in another language is a plus.
• Licensed RN in Massachusetts.

Responsabilités

• Deliver nursing care in the Medical Surgical unit, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating and educating patients.
• Communicate with health care team members, patients, and their families.
• Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues.
• Update and manage patient records and interpret computerized data.
