Job summary

Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical Urology/Genitourinary unit. This full-time day shift (36 hours/week) involves a self-scheduling model with rotating weekends and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate holds a Nursing Diploma/ASN/ADN (BSN preferred), Texas RN licensure, and BCLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or ASN/ADN; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing.
• BCLS required prior to independent patient care; maintained quarterly.
• ACLS required.
• CPI training within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year RN experience or nursing residency completed.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients using the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient and plans care.
• Intervenes as appropriate and evaluates outcomes.
• Maintains age-appropriate safety and infection control measures.
• Ensures continuity of care across shifts and transfers.
• Communicates information needs to patients and families.
