Job summary

Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, NY is seeking a Registered Nurse for Medical-Surgical to join our night shift team. The RN will use the nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal outcomes. Requires NY RN license and diploma with licensure; BSN preferred.

1-2 years Med-Surg experience and ventilator care exposure valued. Current BLS; Med-Surg certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Current registration in New York State as an RN, diploma and licensure required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• 1-2 years Med/Surg experience preferred. Experience with ventilator patients preferred.
• Current BLS required.
• Med-Surg certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate patient care on the unit.
• Works collaboratively with all disciplines on the assigned unit.
• Night shift - 12 hours, with every other weekend and holidays (7p-7a).
