Job summary
AdventHealth Sebring in Florida is hiring a registered nurse (RN) to support patient care across the unit. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote safe, timely care, perform comprehensive assessments, and contribute to discharge planning.
The role requires an active RN license, BLS certification, NIHSS certification, and 1+ year of acute care experience. Eligible candidates may receive sign-on and relocation bonuses, with benefits from day one and career development
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida or eligible for licensure
- BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- 1+ year of recent and relevant acute care nursing experience
- EPIC charting experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with the team to manage patient flow and ensure timely admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Performs comprehensive data collection and initial patient assessments
- Documents and communicates handoffs clearly between caregivers
- Contributes to patient safety, quality of care, and regulatory compliance
- Participates in rounding and patient-centered care activities
- Engages in patient and family teaching and discharge planning
