Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a registered nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in an acute hospital setting. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and educate patients and families to promote health outcomes.

The role requires RN licensure, an Associate's degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), and strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills. Competitive pay and benefits available, with Day One coverage.

Qualifications

• RN license active in Florida.
• AS nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and EHR.

Responsibilities

• Assess physiological, psychological, and social factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and self-care.
• Collaborate with staff to coordinate care and ensure safety.
• Document care activities and outcomes accurately.
• Evaluate care effectiveness and adjust plans to improve outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and regulatory compliance.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication.
• Supervise care delegation and participate in performance improvement.
• Respond to code situations and stabilize patients.
