Job summary

CHI Williston Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Williston, ND to provide compassionate, high-quality care and lead assessments and care planning. You will work within an interdisciplinary team to support patient outcomes and professional growth.

Responsibilities include triage, medication administration, IV therapy, and educating patients and families. Sign-on incentive of $20,000 is available for eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing
• ND RN license
• BLS from the American Heart Association
• ACLS within 6 months
• PALS within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Respond to life-saving situations per nursing standards and policies
• Set priorities in care plans based on need and resource availability
• Collaborate with providers to deliver exceptional patient care

• Performs triage by assessing patient’s health and continuously monitor; detect changes in symptoms, health or pain, and take action as necessary; and quickly and accurately assess patient care needs
• Responds to life saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol
• Sets priorities in plan of care based on assessed needs and anticipates personnel, supplies, and equipment required to care for patients based on assessed needs
• Works collaboratively with provider to provide exceptional care
• Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments in compliance with policies and procedures
• Provides patient and family education

We are offering $20,000 sign-on incentive to new hires who meet eligibility requirements

Job Requirements

Required

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing
• Registered Nurse: ND
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 - months
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 - months

Preferred

• Medical-Surgical Unit and/or Long-Term Care RN experience
