Job summary

CHI St Alexius Health Williston is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced setting. You will perform assessments, administer treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements include an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, ND RN license, BLS, ACLS and PALS within specified timeframes. A sign-on incentive of $20,000 is available for eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 - months
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 - months

Responsibilities

• Performs triage by assessing patient’s health and continuously monitor; detect changes in symptoms, health or pain, and take action as necessary; and quickly and accurately assess patient care needs
• Responds to life saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol
• Sets priorities in plan of care based on assessed needs and anticipates personnel, supplies, and equipment required to care for patients based on assessed needs
• Works collaboratively with provider to provide exceptional care
• Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments in compliance with policies and procedures
• Provides patient and family education
