Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Methuen, MA seeks a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations and donor care, reporting to the Center Manager.

You will determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, review test results, and assist with medical issues under physician guidance. A clinical background (EMT/paramedic or RN/LPN) and CPR/AED certification are required, with a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Clinical or hospital setting experience preferred.
• Emergency medical services certifications required.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• State licensure or eligibility for EMT/RN/LPN in MA will be needed.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility and obtain informed consent.
• Manage donor adverse events and medical examinations per SOPs.
• Review lab results and communicate unsuitable tests to donors.
• Provide guidance on medical issues under Center Physician supervision.
• Support vaccination programs and occupational health guidance.
