IU Health is hiring for a Medical Stroke Unit RN on the Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN. The unit emphasizes multidisciplinary care for acutely ill medical/surgical patients with a stroke focus. The position requires an ASN with a BSN preferred, Indiana RN licensure, and BLS certification. Exceptions may apply for experienced candidates.

Qualifications

• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• RN must be licensed in Indiana.
• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; exceptions considered with acute care experience.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/other ALS may be needed per unit policy.

Responsibilities

• Care for acutely ill medical/surgical patients on the Medical Stroke Unit.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, physicians, PCs, case managers, and support staff.
• Contribute to high-quality, compassionate patient care and advocacy.
