Job summary

Advocate Health Kings Mountain seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the 2N Medical unit. This full-time night position offers 36 hours per week with rotating weekends as required.

The RN is responsible for delivering evidence-based nursing care, collaborating with the care team, documenting in the EHR, and ensuring patient safety. A BSN is preferred and an active RN license with BLS is required; 1 year of clinical nursing experience is typical.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice.
• BLS certification required.
• 1 year of clinical nursing experience typical.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and updates care plans.
• Maintains accurate EHR documentation.
• May float to other units as needed.
• Adheres to ANA Code of Ethics in patient care.
