Job summary

Advocate Health, operating Atrium Health Kings Mountain, seeks an RN for the 2 North/Progressive Care unit. This 33-bed med-surg and progressive care area provides care for a diverse adult population with acute medical conditions.

The role is full-time nights (7p–7a) with every third weekend. Requires RN licensure with BLS; BSN preferred. Collaboration with interprofessional teams and commitment to evidence-based practice are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license in the state and BLS certification.
• At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Maintains accurate EHR documentation and delivers patient-centered care.
