Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care across the continuum within the Med/Surg units. The role includes data collection, assessment, care planning, and coordinating with the health team to deliver effective nursing interventions.

Responsibilities include conducting ongoing patient assessments, administering medications safely, and serving as the point of contact for care coordination. Eligible for a sign-on bonus in some cases.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice (required)
• BLS certification preferred
• Associate degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing (required) or BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process with data collection and assessment
• Coordinate care with health team members
• Provide patient teaching and ensure safety through medication administration
• Act as patient safety advocate and participate in quality improvement
