Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for St. Rita's Medical Center in Ohio. This full-time, day-shift role offers 36 hours weekly with new grad RN welcome and a possible sign-on bonus.

You'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, monitor patients, administer IV meds, and develop care plans to improve outcomes while maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with active RN licensure in Ohio; BLS preferred, ACLS acceptable; on-site

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience (required)
• Six months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• BLS Basic Life Support (preferred; ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, understand charting and assess patient condition
• Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes
• Administer medications in a safe manner consistent with Mercy Health policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
