Job summary

Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center is seeking a Med-Surg RN to provide high-quality nursing care on a 20-bed unit serving patients with diverse medical conditions and post-procedure needs.

The role emphasizes teamwork, careful assessment, and evidence-based care planning. A BSN is preferred; minimum RN experience is required, with BLS recommended and ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred).
• One year of RN experience (required).
• Six months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).
• Current state RN licensure; BLS preferred prior to direct patient care; ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, and chart patient condition.
• Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Administer medications safely and per Mercy Health policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
