Job summary

Iredell Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med Surg team in Statesville, NC. The role covers a wide age range (5 days to 100 years) and focuses on coordinating patient care and clinical skills development.

The position offers a 7:00 AM–7:00 PM schedule, 36 hours per week, and a $10,000 sign‑on bonus for eligible candidates, along with per-shift and pediatric differentials and additional pay for hours beyond 36 per week.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in North Carolina.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Successful orientation including age- and population-specific skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prescribes nursing care, delegates nursing activities, and coordinates assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care.
• Ensures care aligns with hospital mission and nursing philosophy, objectives, and standards.
• Has full access to patient health information.
