Job summary

AdventHealth in Minneola, FL seeks a Registered Nurse for a full-time Day shift. The nurse will perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families. Collaboration with the health care team is essential to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Requirements include Florida RN license, BLS, and at least 1 year of acute care experience preferred; an Associate's degree in Nursing is required with a Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1+ year acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise them as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately following orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and outcomes.
