Job summary

Mercy Health in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med-Surg Telemetry Unit at St. Rita’s Medical Center to deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care. You will assess patient needs, develop care plans, administer medications, collaborate with the care team, and ensure a safe, therapeutic environment.

Requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing (preferred) and at least 1 year of RN experience; licensing and BLS as specified. Mercy Health offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred).
• One year of RN experience (required).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS Basic Life Support (preferred; must obtain before direct patient care; ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS).
• Six months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, and assess patient condition.
• Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Administer medications in a safe manner per Mercy Health policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
