Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of RN experience required.
• Med-Surg or Telemetry experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret EKG rhythms preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required or preferred based on unit needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient-centered care in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting.
• Monitors telemetry patients and responds to changes in condition.
• Documents all aspects of the nursing process accurately in the EMR.
• Provides education to patients and families regarding care and discharge planning.
