Job summary

NCH Healthcare System is recruiting an RN for our 5th Floor Medical Surgical Telemetry unit in Naples, FL. The RN will plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, providing direct nursing services and teaching as needed.

This full-time position requires Florida RN licensure and BLS certification, with residency support for new-to-practice RNs. The unit emphasizes collaborative care, evidence-based practice, and safe, patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the State of Florida.
• BLS certification required from ARC or AHA.
• RN Residency Program for new to practice RNs.
• Intermediate computer knowledge: Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care per standards, policy and procedure.
• Provides direct nursing care and assumes teaching and leadership responsibilities.
• Participates in shared decision making, quality improvement and SDM.
• Communicates effectively and demonstrates leadership within the unit.
• Collaborates with patients, families and inter-professional team to provide safe, efficient care.
