Job summary

Naples Comprehensive Health - NCH is seeking a Registered Nurse to plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with standards and hospital policy. The RN will provide direct patient care, teaching, and leadership within the Orthopedics Telemetry Department.

Licensed Florida RN or APRN with BLS certification is required. New RNs may enter the RN Residency Program, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook expected for daily documentation and communication.

Qualifications

• Licensed as RN in Florida; Advanced Practice RN also acceptable.
• BLS certification required from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• All new to practice RNs will be placed into the RN Residency Program.
• Intermediate computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows.

Orthopedic Telemetry Department is a 32 bed unit at our Downtown Baker campus that provides care to a wide range of orthopedic surgeries as well as patients undergoing elective total joint replacement. The nursing care consists of post op care, pain management and care transitions to home/rehabilitation centers.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse independently plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care in patient care situations using standards of care, policy, and procedure. Provides direct nursing care to patients, assumes teaching and leadership responsibilities. Participates in shared decision making, unit committee and quality improvement activities. Needs minimal supervision.

Education, Experience And Qualifications
