Job summary

NCH Healthcare System Inc seeks a Registered Nurse for the 3W Medical‑Surgical unit at the North Naples campus. The RN independently plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care, providing direct patient care and leadership with minimal supervision, on a 12‑hour day schedule.

The department handles cardiac, telemetry and post‑angio cases across a 19‑bed unit, offering growth through residency pathways and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Florida.
• BLS certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• All new to practice RN will be placed into the RN Residency Program.
• Intermediate computer knowledge: Uses Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care using standards of care, policy, and procedure.
• Provides direct nursing care to patients and participates in teaching and leadership responsibilities.
• Participates in shared decision making, unit committee and quality improvement activities.
• Demonstrates leadership and collaborates with patient, family, the inter-professional team.
