Job summary

MLK Community Healthcare is seeking a skilled RN for 12-hour shifts in Medical-Surgical Telemetry. You will organize, plan, direct, and coordinate high-quality patient care using the Watson Model of Care and patient-family centric approaches.

The role requires active participation in the hospital mission, adherence to core values, and collaboration with Care Managers for discharge planning and interdisciplinary care. California RN licensure and BLS/ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Validation of RN license (California) and BLS/ACLS certifications as required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; ADN or Diploma acceptable with appropriate experience.
• Bilingual Spanish skills preferred for patient interactions.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing process to plan and deliver patient care.
• Perform accurate assessment, planning, and documentation using IPOC and Watson Model.
• Communicate with team via SBAR and coordinate discharge planning.
