Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for Medical-Surgical/Telemetry in Chicago, IL. This contract-part-time role focuses on continuous cardiac monitoring and patient care in a healthcare facility setting.

The RN will apply clinical judgment, adhere to nursing standards, and coordinate care with the team while meeting licensure, CPR, and health requirements. Prior telemetry experience is preferred and beneficial to patient safety.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license for the state where the nurse practices
• One year experience in Medical Surgical with Telemetry preferred
• CPR current if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

The Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN assumes the responsibilityand accountability for delivery of patient care of medical-surgical patientswith a focus on continuous cardiac monitoring and medical conditions. The Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RNdemonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective andefficient manner, with supervision.

The Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN exhibits critical thinkingand performance ability in the coordination of patient care and consistentlyperforms according to nursing standards while remaining accountable forproviding patient care and assisting others in the management of patientcare.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which thenurse practices
• One year experience in Medical Surgical with Telemetrypreferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
