Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for travel assignments in Knoxville, TN. The role offers weekly pay and a 36-hour work week within healthcare facilities, with competitive benefits.

The RN will provide telemetry patient care, perform clinical judgments, and support coordination of care under standard nursing practices. Travel positioning requires valid RN licensure and Telemetry experience where possible.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license for the state of practice.
• One year Telemetry experience preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• CPR certification if applicable.
• TB questionnaire or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care to telemetry patients with clinical judgment and accountability.
• Coordinate patient care and collaborate with the nursing team.
• Document care and monitor patient status per standards and policies.
• Assist in the management of telemetry patients and respond to changes in condition.

As a professional practitioner, the RN - Telemetry assumes the responsibility and accountability for delivery of patient care of telemetry patients. The RN - Telemetry demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner, with supervision. The RN - Telemetry exhibits critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care and consistently performs according to nursing standards while remaining accountable for providing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

Minimum Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which thenurse practices
• One year experience in Telemetry Preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
