Job summary

Bon Secours in Richmond is seeking a Progressive Care (Step down) Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med Surg and Progressive Care Unit at Richmond Community Hospital. This role delivers exceptional nursing care, assesses patient status, coordinates care across departments, and maintains a safe, therapeutic environment.

Required: RN license, 1 year of RN experience; BSN preferred; BLS; ACLS preferred with ACLS within 6 months. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• ACLS or BLS certification required or preferred at hire; ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status and develop comprehensive care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team and coordinate patient care across departments.
• Administer medications safely in accordance with policies.
• Act as patient safety advocate and participate in ongoing quality improvement in the department.
• Other duties as assigned.
