Sovah Health - Danville is hiring a Registered Nurse for Medical Surgical/Post Op, days, with 12-hour shifts from 7A to 7P. Candidates should hold a Virginia RN license and have a nursing degree. The role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license (single-state) or compact license.
• Associate's degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required/preferred.
• Experience in clinical area preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration and treatment.
• Documents patient care and monitors condition; communicates with care team and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Coordinates patient care across transfers, discharges, referrals and support needs.
• Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture and circumstances.
• Advocates for physical and emotional well-being of patients.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
