Job summary

Winchester Hospital, a Magnet-designated, Top 10 Massachusetts recognized 183-bed hospital, has a new registered nurse opening on our Post Surgery A3 Team. Three 12 hour shifts including weekend and holiday rotation. BSN strongly encouraged. Current MA RN license required with unit-specific experience preferred. Vaccination against influenza is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state-approved and/or accredited RN program.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• BSN preferred or strongly encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments, administer medications/treatments, observes patients progress and evaluates therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each patient.
• Support and educate patients and their loved ones to achieve maximum outcomes.
