Job summary

HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg/Telemetry/Progressive Care Float Pool. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure high-quality, efficient care across Med/Surg, Telemetry and Progressive Care units.

We value teamwork and patient-centered care. The role requires current Florida RN license, appropriate compact license if applicable, nursing diploma or ASN (BSN preferred), and certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license required or appropriate compact licensure with active FL license within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• ACLS certification required (6-month grace) and NIHSS.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate care for Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Progressive Care patients.
• Instruct patients and families on medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patient records including tests and results.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
