Medical City Dallas, part of the HCA Healthcare family, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for a full‑time Day shift in Med Surg Ortho. You'll deliver patient‑centered care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and advocate for patients within state practice standards and orthopaedic care needs.

You’ll participate in a robust transfer policy, mentorship, and education programs while supporting positive outcomes and an exceptional patient experience.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Associates degree acceptable; Bachelor's degree within 24 months of hire.
• Current TX or compact RN license.
• Current BLS from AHA or Red Cross.
• Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience in last 3 years.
• Ortho experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assess health status and needs with interdisciplinary team.
• Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Formulate and implement nursing care plans.
• Deliver care within RN scope and legal requirements.
• Develop teaching plans for health promotion and restoration.
• Educate and support patients and families.
• Care for multiple patients directly or via delegation.
• Evaluate responses to interventions.
• Use critical thinking and current literature to guide decisions.
