Mount Carmel New Albany is seeking Registered Nurses for full-time night shifts on the Medical Surgical Ortho unit. We welcome new graduates and experienced nurses, with orientation tailored to your level of practice and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Ohio is required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care for an assigned group of patients, utilizing evidence-based practice.
• Assist provider with patient assessment, examinations and treatments; set up procedures.
• Administer medications under the provider's direction following policies and guidelines.
• Assist in emergency situations under the provider's direction.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and diagnoses clearly.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately in the EMR.
