Job summary

Cleveland Clinic’s South Pointe Hospital invites a dedicated RN to join the 7th Floor Med/Surg and Observation Unit. You will deliver direct nursing care from admission to discharge, collaborate with a supportive team, and participate in a residency curriculum to enhance your clinical skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist fellow caregivers with providing exceptional care to patients from initial introduction to discharge.
• Interact directly with patients, families and visitors, offering education as needed.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care based on acuity and resources.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and take corrective actions.
• Seek supervision, consultation and assistance when unable to perform safely.
• Document in patients’ medical records.

Education

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing

Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
