Qualifications

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• RN-Diploma, ASN, BSN or MSN from an accredited school.
• Nurse Residency and Transition to Practice Programs at Sentara.
• New Graduate Nurses welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients on Med Surg/Specialties unit with a variety of diagnoses (CHF, COPD, Sepsis, Pneumonia, Diabetes, Stroke, etc.).
• Perform and assist with procedures (telemetry, wound vacs, high-risk medication infusions, trach care, chest tubes, peritoneal dialysis).
• Utilize self-scheduling to manage shifts and ensure patient care continuity.
