Job summary

Haywood Regional Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 39-bed Med/Surg unit on a 3x12s night schedule (7 p–7 a). The RN will assess patients, administer treatments, document care, and coordinate with RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.

The role offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates who commit to 2 years, plus a robust benefits package and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Must hold a North Carolina or compact state RN license.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire; ACLS and PALS within 6 months.
• Preferred: 1 year of RN experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and identify needs.
• Initiate nursing interventions as appropriate.
• Provide age-appropriate patient care.
• Document clinical information accurately in the medical record.
• Develop and revise Interdisciplinary Care Plans for patients.
• Complete timely quality improvement assessments.
