Job summary

AdventHealth in Lenexa, Kansas, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Night shift on a full-time basis. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care as part of a collaborative team within a comprehensive health system.

New updates include a $20,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates, night differential of $6 per hour, and career growth opportunities through the Clinical Ladder program.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1+ year acute care hospital experience preferred.
• RN license required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments addressing physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly revise them.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per orders and protocol.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care and ensure teamwork.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
• Evaluate care plans and adjust to improve outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards compliance.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication.
• Supervise and delegate care to team members as needed.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and performance improvement.
• Respond to code situations promptly and intervene to stabilize patients.
