Job summary

Advocate Health in Oshkosh, WI seeks a Registered Nurse for Med/Surg 2 North (Surgical/Neuro). This full-time night shift role runs 6:00 PM–6:30 AM, with every third weekend and block scheduling to support work-life balance.

You’ll provide comprehensive patient care, coordinate with a collaborative team, and participate in ongoing education and professional development within a Top 100 hospital system recognized for orthopedic care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and collaborate in a team-based care model.
• Flexibility to float to other Med/Surg units as needed.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards and procedures.
• Lead with evidence-based practice and strong communication to ensure patient safety and experience across the continuum.
