Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in Oshkosh, WI, to provide direct patient care on the 12-hour shift blocks. The role supports nursing governance, quality initiatives, and family-centered care within the Administration: Nursing department.

Responsibilities include clinical assessment, care planning, documentation, and collaboration with the care team to optimize patient outcomes. Requires RI license and BLS, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Must hold BLS certification and RN license with privileges to practice.
• 1 year of clinical nursing experience typical.

Responsibilities

• Engage in quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and collaborate with the team.
• Promote a culture of safety and maintain accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Communicate effectively, provide feedback, and delegate appropriately.
• Continue professional development and maintain certifications.
• Be prepared to float to other units as needed.
• Adhere to ANA Ethics and age-appropriate patient care.
