Job summary

AdventHealth in Texas is hiring a Registered Nurse for a night shift (7:00pm – 7:00am) on a full-time basis. The role involves assessing, developing, implementing and evaluating comprehensive care plans with a multidisciplinary team, and coordinating discharge planning and post-hospital care resources.

You will monitor patient progress, participate in practice group meetings, and ensure adherence to nursing standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing is required.
• RN license is required.
• BLS and CPR certification required.
• 1+ year acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care plans with a multidisciplinary team.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' goals, biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, and discharge planning needs.
• Act as liaison to post-hospital care providers and community health resources.
• Manage patient transitions through the system and ensure accountability at discharge.
• Attend practice group meetings and participate in peer reviews.
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations per protocol.
• Utilize management skills to supervise, evaluate, and review patient care activities to ensure quality care.
