Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med Surg Stroke Certified Unit in Palm Coast, Florida, working nights from 7pm to 7am. The role requires an RN with an Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred) and active BLS; a range of state certifications may be preferred depending on unit.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, and social domains.

• Administer medications per physician orders and monitor for adverse effects.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and ensure effective communication.
• Document accurately in the medical record and maintain compliance with protocols.
