Job summary
AdventHealth in New Smyrna Beach, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the night shift. You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families while coordinating with the care team.
Must hold a Florida RN license, have an Associate's Degree in Nursing, and possess BLS. Sign-on bonus of $15,000 is offered for new hires. Join a faith-based organization delivering holistic care and community-focused service.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in Florida.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
- BLS certification is required.
- English fluency (read, write, speak) is required.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
- Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
- Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and communication.
- Document patient information, interventions and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
