Job summary

Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, GA seeks an RN Manager Med Surg to lead nursing care on the unit and drive interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance patient outcomes. The Director oversees clinical support, education, and research activities, while planning and directing unit operations in alignment with hospital policies.

The role requires a BSN, 3+ years acute care and managerial experience, GA or Compact RN licensure, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
• 3+ years of acute care nursing with proven managerial competence required
• Current GA RN license or must hold Compact/Multi-State RN License required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications in specialty areas

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, facilitates, and/or performs nursing care on the unit, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration to improve patient care, patient care delivery, and patient outcomes.
• Director provides clinical, consultative, educational, and research support to ensure quality, cost-effective health care.
• Plans, organizes, and directs activities of hospital personnel in patient-focused areas based on nursing standards and Fairview Park Hospital policies.

Education
