Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience working in a medical-surgical (MedSurg) setting preferred.
• Current certifications as required by facility and state guidelines.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic patient care.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, post-discharge care, and medication management.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes, ensuring accurate and thorough documentation.
• Maintain compliance with all safety protocols, infection control policies, and regulatory guidelines.
• Respond to emergencies promptly and efficiently, utilizing critical thinking skills to provide effective interventions.
