Job summary

Allina Health is seeking an RN to join the United Hospital Med-Surg Float Pool. The role involves nursing across multiple units, including post-surgical, general medicine, oncology, ortho, neuro/spine, mental health, and rehab.

You will be part of a team delivering high-quality, patient-centered care with opportunities to expand skills in a diverse clinical environment. The position requires the appropriate RN licensure, an associate or vocational nursing degree, and offers 8-hour evening shifts

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Vocational nursing degree required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred for advancement and broader clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and coordinate care plans across units.
• Maintain competencies to provide high-quality patient care and practice.
• Collaborate with families to establish realistic, measurable outcomes.
• Coordinate, delegate and ensure safe, effective patient care delivery.
• Fulfill organizational requirements and participate in supplemental roles as needed.
