Job summary

Westfields Hospital & Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med/Surg department to support the attending physician and the health care team across a critical access hospital setting. You will deliver patient care in accordance with nursing standards and complete necessary documentation.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, admissions/transfers/discharges, and monitoring responses to treatments with timely communication to physicians and the charge nurse.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing; Wisconsin RN licensure required.
• BLS Certification required; ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, admits, transfers or discharges patients and completes all necessary documentation.
• Performs basic patient care responsibilities as ordered by the physician and per nursing standards.
• Evaluates patient condition and response to treatments, notifying physician and care team as appropriate.
