Job summary

Westfields Hospital & Clinic in Wisconsin seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to support patients in the Med/Surg department in collaboration with the physician and health care team. Responsibilities include admitting, transferring, discharging patients and documentation, plus delivering patient care per physician orders and nursing standards.

The ideal candidate will hold a Wisconsin RN license, maintain BLS (and ACLS within 6 months), and may have EPIC experience; 2 years hospital experience

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Wisconsin required.
• BLS Certification required and ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, admits, transfers or discharges patients and completes all documentation.
• Performs basic patient care as ordered by physician and per nursing standards.
• Evaluates patient condition and response to treatments and notifies the physician and care team as appropriate.
