Job summary

AllianceHealth Durant seeks a Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg department on a full-time days shift. You will deliver patient‑centered care, coordinate with the care team and follow clinical protocols to ensure outcomes. A sign-on bonus and tuition reimbursement are offered to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting.
• RN - State Licensure required; BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process across assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Administer medications, monitor for side effects, and document administration per standards.
• Coordinate with physicians and healthcare team to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in CPR and code team activities as needed.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments and post-discharge care.
• Maintain infection control practices and ensure a safe patient environment.
• Document care thoroughly in the medical record and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
