Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical/Surgical 7E unit. Schedule is full-time, 36 hours per week, days shift 7:00 AM–7:00 PM. Sign-on bonuses up to $20,000 for experienced nurses and up to $10,000 for new graduates.

Candidates must graduate from an accredited nursing program and hold a Missouri RN license or compact licensure, with BLS. Prior hospital experience preferred. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with ADN, diploma, or BSN.
• Current MO RN license or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Hospital experience preferred depending on the unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain accountability.
• Evaluates care effectiveness provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
• Performs duties consistent with Mercy mission, values, and service standards.
